Funny News: Tekken: Dark Resurrection review
August 7, 2006: Tekken: Dark Resurrection review...While most fighters are primarily multiplayer centric, Tekken Dark Resurrection for the PSP offers up a healthy single player game component that should keep you playing when there are no friends online to be found. Story mode remains, as you're able to play as every character in a series of nine Tekken battles to learn everyone's backstory. Even cooler, each of these ends with a high quality FMV to close out the game story. Some of these are pretty standard, cool poses, lots of explosions and so forth. The best, though are the ones that don't take themselves too seriously. Seeing Panda in this game as the leader of a multinational corporation getting proposed to by Kuma the bear may be worth the price of admission on its own...

Full Auto 2 racing game on PSP FunnyGames, November 13, 2006...Like its console counterpart, Full Auto 2 is a racing car combat game featuring vehicles outfitted with various weapons. Gamers will race around 15 fully destructible environments in a car race to see who can finish first in one piece.
The single-player race game version features 56 events, and multiplayer modes include a variety of modes, including Down & Back, Head-On and Arena Deathmatch. Also carrying over from the console version is the unwreck feature. This feature allows Auto 2 gamers to reverse time and have a second chance at maintaining their safe driver's insurance discount.
Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PS3 will be ready for the console's North American launch on November 17. Full Auto 2 Battlelines for the PSP has not yet been rated or priced.

I played a lot of poker in high school. That was back in the mid-1970s. Poker for high school students wasn't like it is today. There was no Internet, no televised poker tournaments, and surely no legal poker rooms in New York where I grew up. For high school kids especially, poker was strictly an underground game illegal, forbidden, and compelling. For us it was like smoking cigarettes or drinking beer or smoking pot or getting laid. You wanted to do it because it was forbidden. And it was fun.
A favorite variety of the game back then was guts. We generally played it in the senior room of the high school a private room set aside only for seniors where we got away with playing poker because faculty didn't enter (unless they smelled cigarettes or pot). Small fortunes changed hands over this game. And we were all on very short bankrolls.
