July 4, 2008: Guitar Hero On Tour Review...Multiplayer is similarly full-featured, though On Tour only allows for local wireless play. Fans hoping to rock out over Nintendo's WFC will have to wait for the reunion tour. Available multiplayer modes include all of the most recent favorites: face-off, pro face-off (same as face-off, except difficulty levels must be the same for both players), co-op and guitar duel...
...Single player Guitar Duel has a level progression unto itself, a sort of Career mode alternative. Career's band-building storyline is absent here, replaced with a series of face-offs which pit players against NPC opponents. The songs and setlists are all the same across both modes, but Career and Guitar Duel both have to be opened up separately...

Alone in the Dark Review FunnyGames, July 14, 2008Many gamers are going to buy Eden Studios' Alone in the Dark and instantly take a liking to the game's all together different approach. The episodic format, the highly stylized cinematic set pieces, the HUD-free presentation, the first/third person gameplay, the 1:1 analog controls for two-handed weapons... there's a lot of forward-thinking stuff to latch on to. However, no matter how enthusiastic the gamer, all will eventually be given pause. Maybe it's a car getting inexplicably lodged in some invisible part of the environment. Maybe it's a needless death because the camera didn't catch up to the action quickly enough. Maybe, just maybe, the game will even crash and take with it any progress you've made in an episode. EA puts Sadler on NASCAR racing covers FunnyGames, July 3, 2006
NASCAR driver Elliott Sadler has always been into games, but now he's on one. Electronic Arts today announced that Sadler will grace the cover for its upcoming NASCAR 07 on the Xbox and the PlayStation 2, as well as NASCAR on the PSP.
"I'm thrilled that EA has chosen me as their cover athlete for the game this year," said Sadler, who has been involved with the gaming franchise for years. "I've been a big fan of this game for a while now and play it as often as I can whether I'm on the road or at home."
