February 29, 2008: Lost: Via Domus Review (Xbox)You may be wondering if we really needed a video game based on the hit TV show Lost. While the show has a legion of fans, they've already got their hands full with the alternate reality game that went around and tons of mysteries still going on in each episode. But here comes Ubisoft with a licensed game, whether we like it or not. And frankly, unless you enjoy both light adventure games and the actual show, you'll probably not make it through this one. But for that narrow combination of fans of both, this can wind up being a pretty solid game...
...I'm not a huge adventure gaming fan, but I found that exploration and just taking in all the Lost-like stuff to be the best part of Via Domus. Solving fusebox puzzles by fiddling around with wiring is a significant part of your adventures...

Review: Burnout: Dominator racing (PS2) FunnyGames, April 10, 2007...This racing game has not changed substantially - you still pilot a car at breakneck speeds through the crowded streets of unnamed cities. You get points for driving recklessly. Weaving through oncoming traffic and drifting around corners builds up boost, which then can be triggered for a scary speed burst...
...Instead of racing, most of the events take the form of challenges: drift for over 9,000 yards, complete a lap in under a minute, take out fifteen cars. These are neat mini games, but here they have almost completely replaced the basic racing game which is rubber-banded to death anyway...

Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run (Midway)
We're really going to try our best not to blame The Rock for the human travesty that was DOOM: The Movie. I mean, they didn't let him be the super cool, one-liner spitting badass we know and love, instead relegating him to a ridiculously cliched soldier who goes too far. But despite that misstep, we still love the big lug, and have hope that he may be able to bring a little respect to videogame movies when Spy Hunter comes out in 2007.
Beating the flick to the punch, however, Midway is hard at work on Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run, a PS2 and Xbox title set to hit stores this summer. Thankfully, even though the game will beat out the movie by a year, it'll still feature the voice, likeness and undeniable presence ...
