Giant robots are almost always fun. Sometimes, you get to go into great detail when you build them in a video game, much like the MechWarrior series on the PC. Take every part, fit it into certain slots and make sure you have the right type of armor, not to mention enough heatsinks to keep from overheating when you fire off those 12 lasers at once. Then you have the much more simplistic ones where you don't really upgrade your robot but instead run around and shoot stuff in a more action-styled game you can find this mostly at play in MechAssault...
...The game graphics are, for the most part, pretty darn nice. Mechs have some insane detail on them try changing to a slight weapon variation and you will notice it almost immediately...

Texas Hold'Em Poker Review FunnyGames, September 11, 2006Now that many real-money online poker sites are starting to close due to federal legislation, many gamers are deciding whether they're in it for the money, or for the thrill of poker itself. The most popular form of poker nowadays is Texas Hold 'Em, and video games and TV shows basedon it are everywhere. And the Xbox 360 can be put on the list of platforms with a Hold 'Em game - Tikgames' Texas Hold 'Em for the Live Arcade has just launched on Microsoft's powerhouse console, and while you'll find the graphics to be anything but impressive, the online play is better. Super Mario Party 8 Review FunnyGames, July 9, 2007...Mario Party 8, despite being on the Wii, is almost identical in terms of presentation and scope of the previous installments. It's still a hyper cute, turn-based board game where Mario characters attempt to collect stars, beating out other denizens of the mushroom kingdom. The highlight of these matches comes from the minigames, which have always been the main draw of the Mario Party series. And they're back in full force, with tons of varieties, ranging from 1-on-3, 2-on-2 or free for all battles...
...In the end, Mario Party 8 is a fine choice if you loved the first 7 entries and are dying for more. If you're looking for a change, though, 8 barely offers it in the form of basic motion controls. Other than that, this is kiddie fodder, through and through.
