January 17, 2007: World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade PreviewedIt's been over two years since Blizzard Entertainment unleashed World of Warcraft upon the masses, and back then no one was sure how well the new MMORPG was going to do. We saw dwindling numbers in past MMO successes like Everquest and Dark Age of Camelot, and people were really unsure of whether a company who had previously delivered only strategy and action/RPG titles on the PC were going to do with an MMO.
As you probably know, it turns out that World of Warcraft was a smashing success. It was almost too successful for its own good, causing too many people to log on at once and lag every single server, all of which at one point were overcrowded. Since then, Blizzard has added dozens and dozens of servers, expanded its player base to 8 million people worldwide, and added quite a bit of free, new content that's mostly aimed at the high-level players. But it's been a long time and while a new dungeon every five or six months has been fun, Blizzard is finally releasing The Burning Crusade, the first expansion pack for World of Warcraft...

Mortal Kombat Armageddon: New details released FunnyGames, July 26, 2006...Midway is bringing current-gen Mortal Kombat to a close with Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, the biggest title in this legendary fighting game series to date. Armageddon promises to be the most complete MK title ever with tons of gameplay, dozens of characters to choose from, and several new features to bring longtime fans of the series back for one final blast through the Outworld...
...Last but not least, the game's producer hinted at a super secret mode akin to the zany puzzle games in previous MK titles. We don't really know what to expect, but we imagine it'll be a simple, pick-up-and-play style as the other mini-games have been. Maybe Gauntlet with Mortal Kombat characters? Auto Assault is a post-apocalyptic combat driving MMORPG that was released by NetDevil and NCSoft. The game aims to provide players with a unique combat system that promises high speed destruction in a massively multiplayer environment. Players choose from three races: Biomeks, Humans, and Mutants where they harness their skills while preparing to duke it out in the middle of the world at higher levels.
Most Anticipated of 2005, Best Online Multiplayer Game, Editors Choice, Best Gameplay. These are just a few of the lines that were all over the front pages of PC gaming magazines and websites after the E3 show of 2005. Everybody seemed to be excited about a game that promised to bring some new, fast-paced, combat driving to the market in the form of a massively multiplayer role-playing game.
