Peter Molyneux's Black and White was universally hailed as an innovative switch-up in gaming prior to its launch, and frustrated critics referred to it as a toy once they'd had a chance to see the depth of the title's gameplay. The design of the sequel, Black and White 2, seems to be a deliberate response to the denouncements leveled at the original game. The result is a more traditional, less open-ended RTS with some identity issues. Despite that, being a god still has as much appeal as it did back in the days of Populous. If realistic racing games are your thing, the Xbox 360 has one solid choice: Project Gotham Racing 3 game. That is, it's the only solid choice if you're willing to limit yourself to four-wheel racing games. Now, if you're looking for a bit of the two-wheel variety games, you might want to take a look at MotoGP 06, the latest motorcycle racer game from THQ.

In case you're new to the MotoGP franchise games, it's all about super fast bikes, super twisty courses, and super realism. Don't expect to see boost meters or red shells here, as you'll have to make it to the finish line just like the pros do it in real life.

...The majority of this game is shooting. The visuals in this game are pretty impressive at times, but this one still winds up being a bore almost from the start. The action is just plain dull, and your enemies are about as stupid as they can get. Enemy soldiers rattle off the same stupid lines over and over, while the otherwise interesting music gets drowned out by the same rock tune every time a fight starts up...

...The game runs through a list of both old-school shooter and modern day action game stereotypes as well. From the Heaven/Hell story to fairly standard boss fights to my favorite part, the key-card hunting, you'll find that this one is highly derivative. Sure, the physics system and lighting and textures are pretty nice if you've got a PC to handle that stuff on, but they don't really do anything for the actual game. The story starts...
