Funny News: Mortal Kombat Armageddon: New details released
July 26, 2006: Mortal Kombat Armageddon: New details released...Midway is bringing current-gen Mortal Kombat to a close with Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, the biggest title in this legendary fighting game series to date. Armageddon promises to be the most complete MK title ever with tons of gameplay, dozens of characters to choose from, and several new features to bring longtime fans of the series back for one final blast through the Outworld...
...Last but not least, the game's producer hinted at a super secret mode akin to the zany puzzle games in previous MK titles. We don't really know what to expect, but we imagine it'll be a simple, pick-up-and-play style as the other mini-games have been. Maybe Gauntlet with Mortal Kombat characters? Damn you Midway, you have us thinking! Keep checking back as Armageddon nears its October release date...

Mario Kart Wii Reviewed FunnyGames, May 21, 2008...From a single-player perspective, Mario Kart Wii offers about as much depth has it has in previous entries. Race through a bunch of different tracks and engine levels against AI racers to win new characters, vehicles and tracks. Very straight forward, almost to the point of phoning it in. Considering how much work went into the single-player of Smash Bros Brawl (another primarily multiplayer game), some cutscenes or an overarching story would've gone a long way.
For multiplayer, you can play split screen with up to 4 players, or hop online with one other person and take on folks from around the globe. While playing living people adds to the challenge of the game, Mario Kart really loses something if you're playing against people that aren't on the same couch as you, and the lack of voice chat doesn't help matters much. Though it's there, the cumbersome nature of the online features means that you're probably better off sticking with local games...

Faces of War movie FunnyGames, January 10, 2006
Ubi Soft has released a new movie trailer for Faces of War, showing off the 3D real-time World War II action strategy sequel in production at Best Way. This trailer comes in two sizes and sports more than three minutes of action-packed gameplay footage from the Omaha Beach mission.
