April 10, 2007: Review: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.It's been over five years in the making and it's gotten pretty close to the top of a lot of lists of software that might never be released, but here it is: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. This first person shooter, from Eastern European developer GSC Game World, promises a new kind of open-ended FPS gameplay where there are many different ways you can progress and lots of non-critical quests and tasks you can do before getting to the end of the game.

Video Slots Pulled From Ontario Casinos FunnyGames, February 27, 2007Dozens of video slot machines found to flash jackpot logos across screen with every spin; regulatory board determining if it was subliminal messaging or a glitch.
On Friday, an Ontario gambling operator shut down 87 Konami video slot machines in the Canadian province out of concern that they may contain subliminal messages that would encourage players to keep gambling, according to CBC News. Settlers II remake announced FunnyGames, June 12, 2006
Ubisoft has announced it's going back to its roots with a new edition of the 10-year-old classic, Settlers II. The game will feature up-to-date 3D graphics, but the gameplay focus will be the same as the original. Players will have to combine economical acumen with prowess in battle to successfully develop their population, with three races to choose from: Romans, Nubians, and Chinese.
