As you get a bit of story, he'll make an escape while being chased by an Indiana Jones style boulder. For the uninitiated, the single player game puts you into some sort of cheesy situation and gives you a chance to fail as many as four microgames. Monster Hunter Freedom is a pretty straight port of a Japanese-only PS2 game that came out about a year ago. The basic idea is that you're an up-and-coming warrior looking to cut your teeth on some simple quests. Eventually you'll gain notoriety, going on more advanced adventures, collecting cool new gear and doing some serious hacking and slashing...
...The PSP is a handheld and as such it should play host to games which are quick and easy to pick up and have fun with. Monster Hunter Freedom is simply a case of a poorly chosen port that probably should've stayed on the PS2...and in Japan, for that matter...
